Terms Used In Michigan Laws 700.5210
- Child: includes , but is not limited to, an individual entitled to take as a child under this act by intestate succession from the parent whose relationship is involved. See Michigan Laws 700.1103
- Court: means the probate court or, when applicable, the family division of circuit court. See Michigan Laws 700.1103
- Minor: means an individual who is less than 18 years of age. See Michigan Laws 700.1106
Upon receipt of a copy of a judgment or an order of disposition in a child custody action regarding a minor that is sent to the court as provided in section 6b of the child custody act of 1970, 1970 PA 91, MCL 722.26b, the court shall terminate the guardianship or limited guardianship for that minor.
