Terms Used In Michigan Laws 750.159t
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Prosecuting agency: means the attorney general of this state, or his or her designee, or the prosecuting attorney of a county, or his or her designee. See Michigan Laws 750.159f
Notwithstanding any provision in this chapter, the prosecuting agency shall not seize materials presumptively protected by the first Amendment to the constitution of the United States in a manner that violates that constitutional provision.
