Terms Used In Michigan Laws 750.543c

  • Act of terrorism: means a willful and deliberate act that is all of the following:
    (i) An act that would be a violent felony under the laws of this state, whether or not committed in this state. See Michigan Laws 750.543b
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
  • United States: shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
  •      As used in this chapter, “terrorist organization” means an organization that, on the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section, is designated by the United States state department as engaging in or sponsoring an act of terrorism.
