Subdivision 1.Application.
For the purposes of sections 116J.69 to 116J.71, the terms defined in this section have the meanings given them.
Subd. 2.Business license.

“Business license” or “license” means any permit, registration, certification, or other form of approval authorized by statute or rule to be issued by any agency or instrumentality of the state of Minnesota as a condition of doing business in Minnesota. The term also includes, when applicable, the substantive and procedural criteria governing the qualifications for, and issuance and maintenance of, a business license.
