Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 168D.06
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of public safety of the state of Minnesota, acting directly or through duly authorized agents. See Minnesota Statutes 168D.01
- Tax: means any fee, charge, exaction, or assessment imposed by a governmental entity on an individual, person, entity, transaction, good, service, or other thing. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
License fees paid to the commissioner under the International Fuel Tax Agreement must be deposited in the driver and vehicle services operating account under section 299A.705. The commissioner shall charge an annual fuel license fee of $15, an annual application filing fee of $13 for quarterly reporting of fuel tax, and a reinstatement fee of $100 to reinstate a revoked International Fuel Tax Agreement license.
