A contract for services valued in excess of $50,000 must require certification from the vendor and any subcontractors that, as of the date services on behalf of the state of Minnesota will be performed, the vendor and all subcontractors have implemented or are in the process of implementing the federal E-Verify program for all newly hired employees in the United States who will perform work on behalf of the state of Minnesota. - Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
(1) State Board of Investment; or
(2) the Office of Higher Education for contracts related to credit reporting services if the office certifies that those services cannot be reasonably obtained if this section applies.
