Subdivision 1.Foreign corporation.
A foreign corporation shall be subject to service of process, as follows:

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Service of process: The service of writs or summonses to the appropriate party.
(1) by service on its registered agent; or
(2) as provided in section 5.25.
