Subdivision 1.Terms.
Except as provided in this section the terms contained in sections 475A.01 to 475A.06 shall have the meanings given them by section 475.51.
Subd. 2.Municipality.

- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.

“Municipality” means any city, town, county, school district or any political subdivision of the state which has the authority to issue general obligations.
Subd. 3.Guaranteed bond.
“Guaranteed bond” means a general obligation bond of a municipality including a statement approved by the commissioner of management and budget as provided in section 475A.03.
