Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 604A.13

  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
  • state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44

A person who acts in accordance with chapter 525A or the applicable anatomical gift law of another state or who attempts in good faith to do so, is immune from liability as provided in section 525A.18.
