Subdivision 1.Meetings.
The Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board must meet regularly at the times and places as the board determines. Meetings must be called by the chair or at the written request of any eight members.

The Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board must have an executive director who is in the unclassified civil service and who is not a member of the board. The executive director must fulfill the duties provided in section 122A.09, subdivision 6. The board must review the performance of the executive director and set the salary of the executive director, not to exceed the limit for a position listed in section 15A.0815, subdivision 2.
