Minnesota Statutes 299F.20 – Failure to Comply, Punishment

Any officer referred to in section 299F.04 who neglects to comply with any of the requirements of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Under the Minnesota Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
Misdemeanor	up to 90 days	up to $1,000
