Minnesota Statutes 321.0116 – Resignation of Agent for Service of Process
Subdivision 1.Resignation of agent.
An agent of a limited partnership or a foreign limited partnership may resign by delivering for filing with the secretary of state a signed written notice of resignation, including a statement that a signed copy of the notice has been given to the limited partnership at its principal office or to a legal representative of the limited partnership. The appointment of the agent terminates 30 days after the notice is filed by the secretary of state.

If the business address or name of an agent changes, the agent shall change the address of the designated office or the name of the agent, as the case may be, of each limited partnership or foreign limited partnership represented by that agent by delivering for filing with the secretary of state a change of designated office statement signed by the agent, stating that a copy of the statement has been mailed to each of those limited partnerships or foreign limited partnerships or to the legal representative of each of those limited partnerships or foreign limited partnerships.
