Minnesota Statutes 372.13 – Neglect of Duty a Misdemeanor

Any county auditor or other official who willfully neglects or refuses to perform the duties required by this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Under the Minnesota Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
Misdemeanor	up to 90 days	up to $1,000
