Subdivision 1.Application.
This section applies to a person who was:

- Person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
(1) employed by Anoka County in connection with the Achieve program for adults with developmental disabilities on the day before operation of the program is transferred to Achieve Services, Inc.; and
(2) a member of the Public Employees Retirement Association on December 31, 2003.
Subd. 2.Continuation of coverage.
For purposes of participation in the coordinated plan of the Public Employees Retirement Association, a person to whom this section applies is a “public employee” under chapter 353, while employed by Achieve Services, Inc., which is a governmental subdivision under section 353.01, subdivision 6, paragraph (a), for the purposes of reporting contributions for those persons to whom this section applies only.
