Subdivision 1.When paid.
The county board shall pay the salary of the county attorney at intervals as the board shall determine but not less than once each month.
Subd. 2.Budget.
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 388.22
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Month: means a calendar month and "year" means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed; and "year" is equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44

The county board by resolution shall provide the budget for the salary of the full time county attorney.
Subd. 3.Salary appeal.
The county attorney, if dissatisfied with the action of the county board in setting the amount of the county attorney’s salary, may appeal on the same grounds and in the same manner as provided in section 388.18, subdivision 6.
