Minnesota Statutes 446A.02 – Definitions
Subdivision 1.Applicability.
For the purposes of this chapter, the terms in this section have the meanings given them.

Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 446A.02
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44

Subd. 2.Authority.
“Authority” means the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority.

Subd. 4a.Eligible recipient.
“Eligible recipient” means a governmental unit or other entity that may be defined as an eligible recipient for specific programs within this chapter, and which may be different from one program to another.
Subd. 5.Governmental unit.
“Governmental unit” means a state agency, home rule charter or statutory city, county, sanitary district, or other governmental subdivision.
Subd. 6.Project.
“Project” means any eligible activity authorized in this chapter including the acquisition, design, construction, improvement, expansion, repair, or rehabilitation of all or part of any structure, facility, or equipment.
