Printed copies of the statute laws of any other state, or of a foreign country, which purport to be published under the authority of their respective governments, or if commonly admitted as evidence in their courts, are admissible as prima facie evidence of such laws in all cases in this state.
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 599.02
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
