Every written instrument purporting to have been signed or executed by any person shall be subject to the provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code, section 336.3-308(a).
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 600.15
- Person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
- Uniform Commercial Code: A set of statutes enacted by the various states to provide consistency among the states' commercial laws. It includes negotiable instruments, sales, stock transfers, trust and warehouse receipts, and bills of lading. Source: OCC
