  • Appellate: About appeals; an appellate court has the power to review the judgement of another lower court or tribunal.

Whenever any cause has been appealed the appellate court shall, without delay, hear and determine the same without regard to the judgment of the circuit court and render such judgment as should have been rendered by the circuit court.
