Terms Used In Missouri Laws 166.061

  • Devise: To gift property by will.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Any person may grant, give or devise to the public school fund of the state any money, property, real or personal, choses in action of every kind and description. The property shall be turned over and delivered to the state director of revenue and the proceeds thereof shall be deposited in the state treasury to be disposed of in the manner provided in section 166.091.
