Terms Used In Missouri Laws 167.141

  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The amount deductible from the per pupil cost of maintaining the high school attended in determining the tuition payable by a district on account of a pupil resident therein who attends an approved high school in another district, in accordance with the provisions of section 167.131, shall be added to the apportionment of the district of the pupil’s residence to be applied on the tuition of the pupil, if the school attended is in an adjoining county outside the state of Missouri, and if the district of the pupil’s residence has filed with the state board of education a receipt showing that such tuition has been paid by the district.
