Terms Used In Missouri Laws 169.100
- Donor: The person who makes a gift.
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
Gifts, devises, bequests and legacies may be accepted by the board of trustees, to be held and invested and, except where specific direction for the use of a gift is made by a donor, used at its discretion for the benefit of the retirement system.
