- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any of the lands donated by act of congress, approved July 2, 1862, may be sold by the board, and deeds of conveyance to same shall be executed by the president of the board of curators, signed by him, with the seal of the corporation attached thereto, and attested by the secretary of the board.
