Terms Used In Missouri Laws 173.380
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
Any other provision of the law to the contrary notwithstanding, it shall not be or constitute a conflict of interest for a trustee, director, officer, or employee of any educational institution, financial institution, investment banking firm, brokerage firm, commercial bank or trust company, or any other firm, person, or corporation to serve as a member of the authority, provided such trustee, director, officer, or employee shall abstain from deliberation, action, and vote by the authority in each instance where the business affiliation of* any such trustee, director, officer, or employee is involved.
