  • hereafter: means the time after the statute containing it takes effect. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The metropolitan zoo district by a vote of the qualified voters thereof voting thereon as now or hereafter required by § 26(b) of Article VI of the Missouri Constitution may incur an additional indebtedness for the purposes of the district. The total indebtedness authorized separately by the voters for the respective district shall not exceed five percent of the taxable tangible property therein as shown by the last completed assessment for state and county purposes in the city and the county.
