- Joint committee: Committees including membership from both houses of teh legislature. Joint committees are usually established with narrow jurisdictions and normally lack authority to report legislation.
The committee shall compile a full report of its activities for submission to the general assembly. The report shall be submitted not later than the annual first quarterly meeting of the joint committee on public employee retirement each year in which the general assembly convenes in regular session and shall include any recommendations which the committee may have for legislative action, as well as any recommendations to retirement system boards of management. The report shall also include an analysis and statement of the manner in which statutory provisions relating to public employee retirement programs are being executed.
