The portion of Highway 36, 1.7 miles west of the intersection of Highway 36 and Route O in Macon County shall be designated as the “Missouri State Trooper William Brandt Memorial Highway”. The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs to be paid for by private donations.
