Terms Used In Missouri Laws 245.340

  • Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Said directors shall, before entering upon their duties, take and subscribe the oath prescribed by the constitution of this state, and that they will faithfully, honestly and impartially discharge their duties as directors, according to law, which oath shall be filed in the office of the county in which said directors may be appointed.
