- Park: any land, site or object primarily of recreational value or of cultural value because of its scenic, historic, prehistoric, archeologic, scientific, or other distinctive characteristics or natural features. See Missouri Laws 253.010

No timber in any state park shall be cut and removed from such state park, sold, or converted into lumber or building material, except upon the express order of the department of natural resources, duly entered upon the minutes of the department of natural resources.
