- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any municipality, public body, political subdivision or municipal corporation may enter into leases, contracts, releases, compromises and loan agreements with the authority for the purpose of developing energy resources or preventing or reducing pollution or the disposal of solid waste or sewage or providing water facilities or resource recovery facilities.
