Terms Used In Missouri Laws 302.710
- Commercial motor vehicle: a motor vehicle designed or regularly used for carrying freight and merchandise, or more than fifteen passengers. See Missouri Laws 302.010
- following: when used by way of reference to any section of the statutes, mean the section next preceding or next following that in which the reference is made, unless some other section is expressly designated in the reference. See Missouri Laws 1.020
- License: a license issued by a state to a person which authorizes a person to operate a motor vehicle. See Missouri Laws 302.010
- Motor vehicle: any self-propelled vehicle not operated exclusively upon tracks except motorized bicycles, as defined in section 307. See Missouri Laws 302.010
- State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
A driver whose commercial driver’s license is suspended, revoked, or cancelled by any state, or who loses the privilege to drive a commercial motor vehicle in any state for any period, including being disqualified from driving a commercial motor vehicle, or who is subject to an out of service order, shall notify his or her employer of that fact before the end of the business day following the day the driver received notice of that fact.
