- intoxicating liquor: as used in this chapter shall mean and include alcohol for beverage purposes, alcoholic, spirituous, vinous, fermented, malt, or other liquors, or combination of liquors, a part of which is spirituous, vinous, or fermented, and all preparations or mixtures for beverage purposes, containing in excess of one-half of one percent by volume. - person: as used in this chapter shall mean and include any individual, association, joint stock company, syndicate, copartnership, corporation, receiver, trustee, conservator, or other officer appointed by any state or federal court. See Missouri Laws 311.030
Any person possessing the qualifications and meeting the requirements of this chapter and the ordinances, rules and regulations of the first class county having a charter form of government in which such licensee proposes to operate his business may apply for, and the supervisor of liquor control may issue, a license for the sale by the drink of intoxicating liquor on the premises described in the application. This license shall be valid only for premises located wholly within the unincorporated areas of such a county.
