Terms Used In Missouri Laws 311.160

  • intoxicating liquor: as used in this chapter shall mean and include alcohol for beverage purposes, alcoholic, spirituous, vinous, fermented, malt, or other liquors, or combination of liquors, a part of which is spirituous, vinous, or fermented, and all preparations or mixtures for beverage purposes, containing in excess of one-half of one percent by volume. See Missouri Laws 311.020

Whenever the question submitted in this chapter provided for has been decided for or against the sale of intoxicating liquor containing alcohol in excess of five percent by weight, by the drink at retail for consumption on the premises where sold, then the question shall not be again submitted within four years next thereafter in the same incorporated city, and then only on a petition and in every respect conforming to the provisions of this law.
