Terms Used In Missouri Laws 311.192
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- person: as used in this chapter shall mean and include any individual, association, joint stock company, syndicate, copartnership, corporation, receiver, trustee, conservator, or other officer appointed by any state or federal court. See Missouri Laws 311.030
The term “wine manufacturer” as used in this chapter shall mean any person, partnership, association of persons, or corporation who has procured a license under subdivision (2) of subsection 1 of section 311.180 or section 311.190, and who manufactures in excess of two hundred gallons of wine per calendar year.
