- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
No move will be made when atmospheric conditions render visibility lower than safe for travel. Moves will not be made when highways are covered with snow or ice, or at any time travel conditions are considered unsafe by the director or highway patrol or other law enforcement officers having jurisdiction.
