Without consent of the board, a membership list or any part thereof may not be obtained or used by any person for any purpose unrelated to a member‘s interest as a member. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, without the consent of the board a membership list or any part thereof may not be:
(1) Used to solicit money or property unless such money or property will be used solely to solicit the votes of the members in an election to be held by the corporation;

- Member: without regard to what a person is called in the articles or bylaws, any person or persons who on more than one occasion, pursuant to a provision of a corporation's articles or bylaws, have the right to vote for the election of a director or directors. See Missouri Laws 355.066
- Membership: the rights and obligations a member or members have pursuant to a corporation's articles, bylaws and this chapter. See Missouri Laws 355.066
- Person: includes any individual or entity. See Missouri Laws 355.066
- Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
(2) Used for any commercial purpose; or
(3) Sold to or purchased by any person.
