- Partner: a limited or general partner. See Missouri Laws 359.011
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.

On application by or for a partner, the circuit court of the county of the principal place of business or of the registered office of the limited partnership may decree dissolution of a limited partnership whenever it is not reasonably practicable to carry on the business in conformity with the partnership agreement.
