Missouri Laws 375.470 – Penalty for violations by director

- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020

If said director or his deputy shall willfully fail, refuse or neglect to faithfully keep, deposit, account or surrender, in the manner by law authorized or required, any such securities as aforesaid, transferred to and received by him or into his custody, under the provisions of law, such director shall be responsible upon his official bond, and suit may be brought upon said bond by any person injured; and said director or his deputy so offending shall, upon conviction thereof, be adjudged guilty of a felony, and punished by a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars, and by imprisonment in the state penitentiary for not less than two or more than ten years; and for any other willful violation or failure or neglect to perform any duty prescribe by law, and pertaining to his office, said director or his deputy, upon conviction thereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding twelve months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
