Terms Used In Missouri Laws 379.205

  • hereafter: means the time after the statute containing it takes effect. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

A number of persons, not less than twenty-five, a majority of whom shall be bona fide residents of this state, by complying with the provisions of sections 379.205 to 379.310*, may become together with others who may hereafter be associated with them or their successors, a body corporate for the purpose of carrying on the business of mutual insurance as herein provided.
