- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any company operating under the provisions of sections 380.201 to 380.591 shall have all the powers, rights, privileges and obligations of a corporation organized under the provisions of chapter 351 except insofar as such provisions are inconsistent with the provisions of sections 380.301 to 380.591.
