Terms Used In Missouri Laws 409.109

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020

A person who willfully violates section 409.108 shall upon conviction be fined not more than five hundred thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both. The proper prosecuting attorney with or without a criminal reference from the commissioner, or the attorney general under section 27.030, may institute criminal proceedings under this section.
