Terms Used In Missouri Laws 411.050
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Director: the director of the Missouri department of agriculture or his designated representative. See Missouri Laws 411.026
- Person: means and includes any individual, firm, partnership, exchange, association, trustee, receiver, corporation, cooperative, society, public body, political subdivision, or any other business or commercial entity or organization of any kind whatsoever, and any member, officer or employee thereof. - State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
The director shall also execute a bond to the people of the state of Missouri in the penal sum of twenty thousand dollars, with corporate surety to be approved in the same manner as bonds of other appointed officers, conditioned that he will pay all damages to any person or persons who may be injured by reason of his neglect, refusal or failure to comply with the provisions of this chapter.
