Missouri Laws 447.577 – Reports — payment or delivery of property, failure to make — false ..
1. Any person who intentionally fails to render any report or perform other duties required pursuant to sections 447.500 to 447.595 may be assessed a penalty of five percent of the total value of the property at issue, but not less than one hundred dollars, for each month the report is not filed or duty not performed, up to twenty-five percent of the total value of the property at issue. Any penalty imposed pursuant to this subsection shall be in lieu of, and not in addition to, other penalties established pursuant to sections 447.500 to 447.595.
2. Any person who intentionally refuses to pay or deliver abandoned property as required pursuant to sections 447.500 to 447.595 may be assessed a penalty of not less than one hundred dollars per day, not to exceed a maximum of ten thousand dollars, and shall be guilty of a class A misdemeanor.

3. Any person who intentionally makes a false statement in any report required pursuant to sections 447.500 to 447.595 may be fined not less than one hundred dollars nor more than ten thousand dollars and shall be guilty of a class B misdemeanor.
