The superintendent shall take from the contractor a bond to the county, with sufficient security, for the performance of the work at the time and in the manner agreed on, according to the plan, under a penalty at least one hundred ten percent of the amount to be given for erecting the building. A copy of the plan shall be annexed to the bond.
