The bond of the county collector in all counties of the first class not having a charter form of government and in all counties of the second class shall be not less than fifty thousand dollars nor more than seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars; the amount of the bond shall be fixed by the county commission; the cost of the bond shall be paid out of the general revenue fund of the county; and the bond shall otherwise be executed and subject to the provisions of this chapter.
