  • Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.

The officer executing a writ of attachment shall return with the writ all bonds taken by him in virtue thereof, and a schedule of all property and effects attached.
