- Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
- Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
When property is seized on attachment, the court may allow to the officer having charge thereof such compensation for his trouble and expenses in keeping the same as shall be reasonable and just.
