Terms Used In Missouri Laws 542.100
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
In the action on such recognizance the offense stated in the record of conviction may be assigned as a breach, and such record shall be conclusive evidence of the matters therein stated.
