Terms Used In Missouri Laws 559.029

  • Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.

Any criminal case under probation supervision may be transferred to another judge in the circuit in the manner provided by local circuit rule.
