- Record: "recorded" or "recording", the recording of a document into the official public record, regardless of the process used. See Missouri Laws 59.005
Such conveyances as have been spread of record, together with the certificate of record thereof, shall be rerecorded free of charge to the holders thereof, provided the same be offered for record within five years after the destruction of the record.
